Sail Date: Sep 2008

My wife and I just returned from 14 days on the Radiance of the Seas last night. It was the conclusion of two incredible weeks. It should be noted that we sailed on the Radiance Oct 2007 to Hawaii. So we were expecting the Ship to overcome numerous issues that occurred last year. The ship and staff did not let us down.

We arrived in Vancouver two days early to escape Hurricane Ike. While in Vancouver, everyone should visit Stanley Park. We enjoyed an incredible day of biking the entire park and the beach side of the city. Our hotel, Hotel L'Soleil was ideally located and extremely upscale.

Our travel partners, my wife's dad and wife, were traveling to Alaska for the first time. Getting on the Radiance was a breeze. All the usual amenities in the room. We had an oversize balcony, and our room steward was a doll and got us a lounge chair for those daily naps that occurred after all the eating.
