Food: We ate at Palace three night and went early and found that we could get in an out in about an hour. The one night at Crossing we went later and were there 2 hours. I think the key is to go early if you don't like sitting there for 2 hours plus. The buffet we only did for breakfast 2 days, and lunch one. It was fair. Room service breakfast is limited, but we loved not having to get dressed and just eat on our balcony.
Shows: The comedian is the best and the shows were entertaining.
Pluming A/C: our A/C worked well at all times and even in Common areas it was cold! Our toilet in 0017 did not flush one of the days, but did not overflow. Our shower in 0018 backed up one day, they came right away and fixed it as well as cleaned it. We did see a blower in the hall around 0008 several times drying carpet. We did hear one man at the reception desk saying that his A/C was not working.
Freeport: took taxi to the beach, did our own snorkel boat thing, right next to the Westin. If walking to the beach stay close to the Westin and walk through the pool area. We did this leaving, but coming we went between the hotels and the sinking sand is really hard to walk in and it was really hot!!! You can't use the pools, but we saw several people with ship towel and no arm bands in the pool. TACKY!!! If I were a guest of the hotel, I would be really mad that a ton of cruise ship people came and took over the pool. You can rent Jet Skis and pay for snorkel tours at the blue house just to the left if you walk to the beach from the Westin pool area.
Nassau: Took a taxi to Atlantis. Not much to see if you are not on a tour. Was really hot, so we just went back to the ship and took a nap!
GSC: Very nice island. Our favorite day! Advise, go early and leave early. It is most crowed between 12 and 3. Plenty of chairs, but loungers are hard to come by unless you get there early. There is shade, but not right on the beach. We saw several hammocks, and you can even have a massage on the beach. The buffet was fine and there is plenty of Ice cold water, and coffee. The tell you to go left off the boat, but it is less crowded to the right. However the water is shallower to the right and there are sea urchins that you can step on to the right. We stayed to the left even thought it was more crowded after my husband stepped on a sea urchin or whatever it was.
Kids: My 7 and 9 year old did not care for the Kids Crew. They felt it was too crowded and not much fun. My teenager loved it and never wanted to leave.
Overall we had a great time and would do it again!
Overall, I felt it was a good value and that we got what we paid for.
