When the heat and humidity of a D.C. summer begin, what better way to cool down than on a Baltic cruise. Though we often travel, this was our first cruise and we were not disappointed. We quickly embarked and with champaign in hand soon set sail. We found our inside cabin near the front of the ship on the Penthouse deck to be conveniently located. We were a few steps from the elevator, a short flight up to the Aqua Spa Cafe, and a short stroll to the Island Cafe. Living in a condo, we appreciated the efficient layout of our cabin with ample storage space.
Favorites Spots Sunset Bar Aft deck 11 dining area for outdoor breakfast or lunch, sipping a beverage perched on a stool along the rail or watching the sunset Hemisphere Observation Lounge-let "Milton the Medic" prescribe something to imbibe as you sail in or out of port. Also a quiet spot to read a book on sea days Seating area behind the Aqua Spa Cafe-on the pool deck sheltered from the wind or rain but still a great view
Not to Miss-going through the locks in Ijmuiden about 2 hours after leaving Amsterdam Being on deck when you go under the Oresundsbron Bridge between Sweden & Denmark
Inside cabin near front of ship-convenient location, quiet, lots of drawer & hanging space, comfortable bed, attractive decor, plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower, liked the lotion dispenser; good value
