My husband and I joined Destiny at Barbados after spending a week in a hotel. We're glad we embarked here as the process was so easy due to the small numbers and we found ourselves in our cabin after just 30 minutes of completing paperwork.

We were glad we chose a balcony room as we used this so much, especially as we were coming into port each morning, on the day at sea and to cool down during the evening. We weren't disappointed with the room, it had everything we needed and we were surprised at how much wardrobe space we had.

Our cabin steward - Jerry - was great. He was from Dominica, very friendly and made our holiday enjoyable. Our room was kept immaculate and when we had issues Jerry soon got it sorted for us. He also created some fabulous towel ornaments, it was a shame to dismantle them and by the end of the week we had a family. All the staff were very friendly and a mixed bunch; there were people from all over the world and they created a great atmosphere.
