We just returned from our seven day cruise and had great time!!! Billy Hygate was so funny, he really cracked us up (and his side kick Paul) !!! This was our sixth cruise, on various lines but our first on Princess. I do believe that so far, this was the best. We have cruised to the Mexican Rivera several times (we live on the West Coast) so the ports were not a priority. We arrived at 10:45 a.m. and were in our cabin by 12:00 noon. We immediately requested an egg crate mattress from our cabin attendant (Ceclile) and let her know that we would like to have alot of Ice every day. We were given a huge ice tub (filled daily) and an egg crate mattress immediately. She gave us great service throughout the cruise. We had waited on a long list for traditional early dining seating, but were disappointed to find out that they did not have tables for two. We did switch to personal choice dining and were able to select a table for two in the Bernini Dining Room with a set time for 5:45 (every night) . Mara and Jade were the best!!! We had heard that the L.A.'s local Country Radio Station (Kk-GO) was broadcasting live from the ship, but this was apparently a closed door session unless you booked with THEIR travel sponsor. Too bad, since their price was the same as most of the internet prices and they probably would have had alot more support if their broadcast would have been open to everyone on the ship. It is very sad that Country Music Radio Stations are not more supported on the West Coast (we are huge fans) and then they use an agency that keeps the doors closed to any potential supporters. Off my band wagon - we had a great time - Puerto Vallarta: We took a cab to town - this time directly to the beach over the river -drinks, chips sun and fun - a great day

Mazatlan - Cab to Golden Zone (did Randy's horses last time - had fun) Much more impressive that I would have thought. Beautiful beaches, nice resorts, great beaches and alot of beach activity - would return for a land trip! Cabo - Did not embark not enough time to enjoy this beautiful port- been here before - weather beautiful - view from ship great!!! No one at the pools - PRICELESS!

Overall - we had a great time on this cruise - overall service, itinerary, food and entertainment were all above what we we expected. If I ever come to the point that I am finding fault with the my choice of vacation - I will quickly change my plans - Life is much too short!!! (Hey - at this point I only get a few weeks a year!)
