Traveled with children

First to start off this was my fourth cruise traveling with my 3 children. Two of them are 17 and one was 15. We took the risk of flying down the same day as the cruise because the prices were cheaper. We have a 6 o'clock flight leaving from New York and we arrived at Fort Lauderdale at 9:30. The cruise port is literally 5 minutes away from the airport and the taxi cab cost 15 dollars.

Embarkation: We arrived at Port Everglades at about 10:45 in the morning. There were no lines at all so we did the check in process, and we were eating lunch in Windjammer at 11:00. Fast and Easy.

Key West: When leaving the ship you forget that you are in still in the United States, that's how beautiful it is. We didn't book anything shore excursions since we weren't going to be in port for a long time. So we decided to walked around and go shopping. It was the best thing not to do shore excursion because everything was so close it walking distance. When going to Key West you can not forget to go the Key Lime Factory, they had the best key lime pie.
