This was my second cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean ship. I was just as excited as I was for my first cruise. We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale on Monday morning around 10:30, got our luggage within 10 minutes of arriving at the baggage claim and immediately got the cab and was at the terminal 10 minutes later. We waited at the terminal until around 11:15 and the boarding process began. The boarding process was fast and smooth, no complaints.

Since we couldn't get in our stateroom until 1PM, we went right up to the dining room to check out our table. We had requested a table for two, since we wanted our dining experience to be private. The table was a table for two but it was about an inch away from two other tables of two. We waited for the maitre'd post to be opened to request a more private area. They gladly changed our table to a more private table, so we were happy about that. Then we went to the Windjammer for our buffet lunch. There was a great variety of food. We thoroughly enjoyed it. it still wasn't 1 yet so we went up to the pool deck and grabbed some drinks. We enjoyed watching others board the ship. Once our stateroom on deck 3 was ready, we went in and looked around. We were in there for about 20 minutes getting some stuff situated and then our luggage came, which I thought was so fast! We took advantage of our luggage arriving so quickly and unpacked it. We had a problem with the safe in our room and had to call 3 times to get it checked throughout the week. (All three times there was someone at our room within 5 minutes and the problem was solved each time. It wasn't an inconvenience just a minor setback. ) We went up on the deck again for some drinks and then found our muster station and did the muster drill. Our dinner was the second seating, wonderful table for two, Our waiter and assistant waiter were excellent all week long. The food was wonderful, cannot complain about any of that.

Day 2 we were in Key West. We ate breakfast in the dining room, and got off the ship around 8. We walked around in Key West a little, took a cab to the Southernmost Point to get some pictures, then went to the bars. We ate and drank in the bars, had a great time. We walked down to the Coach outlet store which is located at 517 Duval Street. I got myself a nice bag from there so I was happy. Before boarding the ship again, we got some key lime pie on a stick and headed back. Night 2 was formal night, great dining again!
