This cruise was one, if not the best vacation we have ever take. Celebrity did a great job of coordinating all our transfers (Van. airport to hotel, hotel to ship, and ship back to airport) Specific comments are as follows:
Food. Celebrity lived up to its reputation. The dining room as well as the buffets were excellent. I especially loved those grilled Salmon Burgers. If you have the chance and don't mind spending the extra money ($30.00 per person), dine in the SS United States room for one night. It was superb. The service and food was terrific. We had the 4-course meal but a six course meal with separate wine at each course is also available (for a higher cost). However, you must make these reservations as soon as you get on the ship as the tables go fast! Our waiter and Asst Waiter in the Dining Room were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. We found that the late seating (8:30 PM) was best (as long as you are going to stay up for awhile). Gives you a chance to relax after excursions and the chance to sample some great pastries at the 4:00 PM coffee bar.
Room: A bit small but the balcony helps a lot. If you have a choice, balcony for this room (and one other) much larger than any other because of the way the ship is shaped. The cleaning staff was great and responded immediately to all our requests.
