Sail Date: Jan 2015
Cabin: Superior Deluxe Balcony Stateroom

Cruise was booked to celebrate a major life milestone (you are only 60 once). Booked 14 months in advance to get a good deal with a cabin of choice. Found after 6 months better deals were to be had by waiting (Buyer beware P&O marketing is very good but not always in the client interests). Taking this aside however the flight out from Gatwick was excellent and the inflight food much better than most other major airlines I fly with (BA need to take note on this and hire James Martin to develop their service).

NO problems in embarking and it was great to find our cases with us when we arrived.

The ship itself has aged (we last sailed on her in her first 6 months on the fleet) but our cabin was good, very clean and our steward excelled. We made an error booking D deck as we would have preferred the cabins on C deck where the baclonies are bigger but cabin space slightly smaller.

Cabin Review

Superior Deluxe Balcony Stateroom

Cabin CA

Should have booked a port side cabin as with starboard ended up with some awful views when Docked. Cabin itself was good standard and well maintained by the steward. Some of the furniture however does need upgrade (chair legs badly damaged by being too near draws)
