Sail Date: Feb 2015

We sailed on the Grand Princess to Hawaii on Feb 17, 2015. I have read many bad reviews of this ship and agree that Princess needs to fix the issues HOWEVER in spite of the tired and worn furniture and the leaky drips from the ceiling we had a GREAT cruise. The staff was wonderful, entertainment was good and the food was good too. (Not great but it was good). I don't understand how people can say it is inedible as I personally believe it is an exaggeration. We had anytime dining and no one we ever sat with ever complained about the food (only one person complained about the tired furniture and drips). We ate breakfast in Sabattinis because we were in a Window Suite. Staff and food great. We ate 2x in Alfredo's. Pizza was good. Lunch, two breakfasts and two dinners were in the Horizon Court . Some better than others but none inedible. Plenty to choose from. Oh, we also had one lunch in the dining room. We also ate in the Crown Grill. Filet Mignon was wonderful and so was the lobster tail.

We were lucky to take this cruise when we did because we mostly had smooth seas. Only one day was the Pacific a bit bouncy.
