Left home in Houston headed out 45 south about 12:30 on Sunday Feb.15, this was one day after Valentines and the last weekend of the Mardi Gras so traffic was heavy but we made it to EZ Park at about 1:20 and was on the ship around 2 oclock. We enjoyed the burgers and fries, then walked around getting famillar with the ship. Around 3:45 we reported to our Muster Station for the safety drill, stood 4 deep in line while listening to the instructions (on the Magic we simply set in a room and listened) after that I went to our room at the back of the ship pretty much the worst room on the ship as I later found out cabin 2477. I enjoyed the Fish and Chips restaurant that was sort of like Long John Silver, I ate there often for lunch ,although it was only open between 12 and 3 oclock. There was not enough entertainment on that ship in my opinion. The Steel City Band was awesome, but there were no Las Vegas type shows and only one DJ that played all the music. Food was good, pool was larger than on the Magic and there were more hot tubs that were never crowded. Wish more southern food would be served such as Gumbo, BBQ , Chilly, Chicken and Dumplins ect.
This was possibly the worst cabin on the ship, it is located right above the Engine and it was noisy the whole 6 nights, the ship was rumbling and even in the dining room it could be felt since our table was also at the rear over the engine
