First...this is our 8th cruise. The 4th on Royal Caribbean, with our 3 young kids.
We thoroughly enjoyed the boat. As you'll undoubtedly read other reviews, this one may not be as detailed as some others, but we wanted to chime in that this boat was fantastic, and the experience was not substantially different from other RoC boats.
As you read through the reviews, I'd ask that you consider the following: the average age of passenger on our 11 day cruise, from Feb 2-13, 2015, was well over 75. I would estimate 3800+ seniors, and most of them using electric wheel chairs, or at least with someone with an electric wheel chair. We were shocked by the demographic, as RoC is usually catering to a fairly balanced age range, with packed Adventure Ocean rooms, and pool areas. This was not the case, but rather the challenges of having such an aged group on board quickly became the story of this cruise.
We actually had 10277 and adjoining 10279. Both were fantastic. The extra bathroom space that's advertised, is quite noticeable. 277 has a couch. We added a cot to 279 for the three kids, and there was still enough room to easily move around in the room.We really liked the Virtual Balcony. It's actually quite neat, and gives us a sense of what's ahead of us as we get up and dressed for breakfast. We didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms, so didn't use the room service, but our attendant left us ice each evening, as we requested, for our water or drinks. The room attendant, Camilla, was excellent, and as good as any service we've had on other boats.
