We took this ship because of the itinerary (St. Thomas, Aruba, Bonaire, Dominica, Grenada and Grand Turk). The ship is beautiful and well appointed. Our cabin steward (Sohel) did an "excellent" for us and made us quite comfortable. The entertainment was the best we have ever seen on a cruise (this was our 13th cruise). The Princess Singers and Dancers were fabulous. Every nights entertainment was great, from the singers and dancers to the illusionist and comedian. We ate at the Crown Grille (fee restaurant) one night and were treated to a wonderful meal of filet mignon and lobster. The deserts were out of sight, so good. Service at the grille was excellent. The Horizon buffet was typically good and the service was very good. The Mongolian Grill at the buffet the last night was excellent. The embarkation and debarkation were accomplished very efficiently. We were able to get to our cabin as soon as we got on the ship.

On the negative side, the ship for its size did not have enough elevators and stairways. It was somewhat disturbing to us to take an elevator for one floor due to a lack of stairways. There were times where it seemed that you waited 5 minutes to get an elevator. There were other times where the elevators would pass you by even though a button was pushed. The main dining room had the poorest selection of entrees of any cruise we have done. Some of the nights had a good selection. Out of a 10-day cruise, we only ate in the main dining room 4 times and once in the Crown Grille. The food we ate in the main dining room was good and the service was adequate (not excellent). We were disappointed there was no Caribbean-style (steel drum) music in the pool area. On all of the other Caribbean cruises we have been on this type of music was played. It kind of sets the mood. This was the first ship that we have been on that did not have an exercise room. This was quite disappointing.
