Sail Date: Mar 2007

We set sail on the Caribbean Princess on March 11, 2007 out of Fort Lauderdale. This was our first cruise celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.

Embarkation: Was as easy and pleasant as has been stated in previous reviews. We really didn't know what to expect. But when we arrived around 12:00, there were probably already about 1,000 people in line or so it seemed. It quickly began to move and surprisingly we were in our room no less than 30 minutes later.

Food: We thought the food was very good. I was very impressed at the presentation and the care that was taken to provide wonderful meals all day. We did try both Sabatini's and Sterling's and they were delicious. We were treated very special on our anniversary in Sterling's. The fruit was always very fresh. There was always a great variety of dishes to pick from. The only thing I would say I was just a tiny bit disappointed was that there was a charge for ice cream. Not a big deal, but I knew ahead of the charges for soda, alcohol, but I was just surprised that you had to pay for ice cream and it was fairly expensive. But, with everything else we ate and the other delicious desserts it wasn't that big of a deal.
