Six months since our cruise, However, Feel like I need to write this review. We are from Louisiana,I am 64 and my wife is 57. We have cruised 5 times in last 6 years. We arrived in Ft Lauderdale the day of our cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess (our first Princess cruise). Had transfers from and back to airport. There were a lot of people and some confusion but no big problems.

We booked a balcony stateroom. We have cruised with balcony (2) and without (3), but will always have a balcony in the future. Definitely worth the extra charge. Embarkation was a little slow, but went smoothly for the most part. Seemed better organized than our 2 Carnival cruises. Getting over 3,000 people on board just requires some time.

Prior to our cruise I read several reviews about this ship. I always try to remember that some people are very hard to please and seem to look for things that are maybe not so great. Personally, we have never met a cruise we did not like, and we always vow not to let small problems prevent us from enjoying our cruise experience.
