Six months since our cruise, However, Feel like I need to write this review. We are from Louisiana,I am 64 and my wife is 57. We have cruised 5 times in last 6 years. We arrived in Ft Lauderdale the day of our cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess (our first Princess cruise). Had transfers from and back to airport. There were a lot of people and some confusion but no big problems.

We booked a balcony stateroom. We have cruised with balcony (2) and without (3), but will always have a balcony in the future. Definitely worth the extra charge. Embarkation was a little slow, but went smoothly for the most part. Seemed better organized than our 2 Carnival cruises. Getting over 3,000 people on board just requires some time.

Prior to our cruise I read several reviews about this ship. I always try to remember that some people are very hard to please and seem to look for things that are maybe not so great. Personally, we have never met a cruise we did not like, and we always vow not to let small problems prevent us from enjoying our cruise experience. Having said that, Some of these people could not have been on the same ship.
