Not to beat a dead horse but I am so glad NCL cancelled the contract for 2 other ships just like her. Despite my concerns about the wavy cabins and the odd bathroom situation which proved to be correct, we booked because we wanted to sail to Grand Cayman & play with the stingrays. That was the highlight of the trip! N.B. we booked independently.

Boarding was surprisingly easy even though we got there later than expected, around noon. They board from two areas which made things easier. We usually sail from NYC which has never seemed organized. As the last color off the ship, our disembarkation was relatively smooth but people were lined up & miserable all morning while we sat comfortably outside of Maltings & watched until the lines went down.

Our cabins were ready right away when we boarded late which was a pleasant surprise. One note about the design, our bed was right next to the little tiny joke of a sink. In the morning when I brushed my teeth I was always scared that with one rogue wave I was going to accidentally spit in my husband’s face when I rinsed.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

I honestly couldn't tell you what made this "bigger" than a regular balcony. We were on the 8th floor by the elevators. We booked it because it was $20 per person more than the balcony when we booked. I wouldn't pay a lot more for it. You don't get much.
