My husband and I and daughter and son-in-law went on this wonderful 7 night cruise. The weather was bad the first two nights, which were sea days, but we got along fine. Our son-in-law had a little stomach problem, but it soon passed. My husband and I have cruised many times, over 30, and this was the best food we have had on any cruise. Everything was good, better than good. We ate in the Black Pearl and every meal was hot and delicious. My daughter in her husband was going to eat in the steak house one night, but decided not to because the food was so good in the main dining room so why pay the extra. The entertainment was a little on the lacking side. I do wish they would have some other things to do on sea days to make the time go faster. We did get a lot of rest and relaxation. Couldn't use the pool because of the rough seas, so rough it was making a wave pool and it had to be shut down.

The ship is dated, but very clean and I really kind of liked it. The main pool area is real pretty, but the sun doesn't shine on the pool a lot but on one end. I think it is the way the deck is positioned, but there are plenty of pools on this ship and they do get the sun. I love the dance floor on the main pool deck, plenty of room for people to line dance and do the activities. One day they had every chair filled with towel people. Some of them were really big. Our daughter said she thought it would make a cute puzzle and she is right.

The 5th deck is where everything is at, casino, sports bar, comedian lounge and staff taking pictures. It is very smokey because of the casino. Our cabin was on deck 6 and you could smell the smoke before you got to the stairs to go down. Some of the guest were polite about their smoking and some were rude, like blowing the smoke in your face. Smoke will make our daughter sick so she couldn't get into the casino but once. She doesn't gamble anyway so it didn't bother her. Her husband still in cabin sick.
