I booked this with my family, parents and mother-in-law for a 2 day out of Port Canaveral. Apparently the propeller on FOS had been out for a month yet I received no email letting me know this (with the opportunity to reschedule/cancel) and boarding turned out to be a disaster. We waited in line at port in the heat for 2+ hours. We got to the 'front' of the building where they had locked the door (can you say fire hazard??) and waited 20 minutes for them to unlock it. When we got in they only had ONE person checking passports (and one for Diamond) for 4000 people! Can you say ridiculous? We were also told that 1/2 the staff was on the other RCCL boat in the dock so FOS was short staffed. We made it through security only to head upstairs to ANOTHER outrageous line to check in. People were upset but kept their cool and the staff were nice but didn't address the awful wait. Disembarking the boat the last day was another frustration- another 1 hour wait, a broken escalator and again only TWO people (for 4000 people) at customs. Unbelievable. Got in late to Nassau (thanks to aforementioned prop) and only 3 hours on the island before having to head back to ship. Onboard they ran out of bottled water, drink cups for the Coke machines and Sprinkles was out of order so no ice cream! My 9 year old son was traumatized by the kids club b/c he said they made all the kids dance even if hey didn't want to. He said one of the boys was so upset he started crying. Really?! The food was so-so and not a huge variety.

So this review isn't ALL bad- the staff at the Flo Rider were great and my son said RCCL had Disney beat on the pools, rock wall and FloRider. Unfortunately this was not enough to outweigh the embark/disembark debacles.

This was my parents and mom-in-law's introduction to cruising. What an awful introduction. 4000 people getting on/off a boat funneling through 2 staff is unacceptable and unbelievable. RCCL lost any future business from me and the potential of any future business from my family.
