We took our 2 teenage daughters on this cruise and we really enjoyed ourselves. There is so much to do onboard for teenagers that the girls were never bored. The port of calls are ify because they visit Jamaica which is a scummy place and has gotten worse in the past 5yrs since we last visited. However the Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico are gorgeous! The cruise company owns CoCoCay, Bahamas which was a port of call and its gorgeous too! Now I have to say we prepaid all onboard gratuities and anytime dining gratuities but that doesnt mean much. The wait stay and room attendants still EXPECT more and they ALL made that known. Some were kinder and more discreet especially in main dining hall but most were not. That being said when on a cruise you are at the whim of the cruise line and its workers so that is a bit of a headache. We actually had a bad/not so good experience with Royal Caribbean because they technically lied to get us to not cancel and continue on with this trip. We received an email a few days before sailing that basically said ship is completely fine with NO malfunctions whatsoever but the cruise ship is facing weather conditions that will slow us and take a little time away from port of call. 100% a lie! The cruise ship was running on 2 engines only and the stop in Grand Cayman wasn't even worth the time. It was very disappointing what little could be done in Cayman Islands because of ships engines problems. Then on our last day of cruise and vacation we were told that a non-caring passenger or 2 did not board Mexico in time and it put us behind schedule to where we would be arriving back home in Florida so late that we should cancel or change or shuttles and flights. It was nerve racking!! The employees of cruise line were told to let passengers us the phones in conference hall to make changes but NO one on board knew exact time of arrival now or even pretended to care. After all was said and done we did arrive a tad late but it was not the extenet of late arrival they lead us to believe that ruined our last day of family trip.

Overall the ship is nice. Main dining hall needs a tad updating and so do the rooms! If you get a nice employee get their name and hold onto them for dear life! The ports of call can't be beat on eye pleasure aside from Jamaica or Nassau..as long as you get a ship functioning mechanically right and can enjoy time in the ports.

Bon Voyage..

Needs updating badly! The bed skirts are NEVER taken off and washed which is hideous. And there's a small bed sham on top comforter at bottom of bed that should never be there. Those should be removed from all rooms ASAP! They are just as bad as bed skirts. Room attendants basically make beds, empty trash, and give towels during your stay. Nothing is vacuumed, no mirrors cleaned, or sheets changed til you depart again. Very disturbing.
