I would recommend this ship. The embarkation was quick and easy. We boarded early and since they are still cleaning rooms headed to the buffet, drinks and the view. They make an announcement after all the luggage has been delivered to the rooms.

The free entertainment was stellar. Legally Blonde, Burn the Floor The Comedy Show are musts. We paid extra to see the Illusionarium and Wine Lovers the Musical. Well worth the money. The magic show was not your regular magic but an entirely creative production as was the Wine Lovers Show. Full set meals were served and they were both excellent and plentiful. Great activities for sea days. We also paid extra for the Ice Bar. That was a do once experience with a couple of drinks and the experience at $20.

No food complaints except one. The buffet was setup smartly and the staff could keep replenished from the back side keeping them out of the guests way. We ate at the Tropicana, Savor and Taste and found the selection and food good. Wish I had found the Savor for breakfast earlier in the trip. Do plan on the service being a bit slow if you are in a hurry. We ate early as possible to get to the early shows and missed one due to slow service. We were able to book for the next night with no problem. I reserved the shows and dining and never felt the chaos that I have felt on other cruises. The only complaint is La Cucina Italian. My companions loved his steak, however my Osso Bucco was cold and tough and the waiter surly. Fortunately, it came with the room.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

My husband and our friend originally booked a balcony room where he would take the fold out. However, for a slight savings he got a studio. This gave him privacy and their perks and access to our balcony room. Perfect. My husband was concerned about lack of space for everything. Not an issue. The suitcases fit under the bed and the closet was shelving and hang-up. Full huge drawers under the sofa where we stashed all the extra pillows and the desk area had plenty of nooks. Since we read other reviews we were prepared for lack of power. We brought a 3 way for one outlet and my husband bought a small plug in device where you can power all your gadgets from via the adapter cords. The bathroom had plenty of storage and the shower was adequate with the shampoo and gel in fixed containers. Yes, we would have like a bigger balcony, but it wasn't a big deal. I originally wanted the bigger balcony room but because of procrastination it wasn't available. I would recommend the side of the ship we were on for port views..
