Cabin: Spa Balcony Stateroom

We were on board for back to back cruise from September 27 to October 10, 2014. NCL does a great job with embarkation. It is always quick and painless. The cabins were available just after 1 p.m.

Roger, our cabin steward did a great job keeping us in new towel animals and keeping everything fresh and lots of ice and coffee/cream. Almost never saw him with the new system which allows you to notify him as to room access. This is a system that has a switch on the inside of your cabin which lets you notify him with a set of three lights, one green, one white and one red. You flip the switch for privacy (red), green lets him know that he can have access to clean and a white light that lets him know that you are in your cabin. Great system. We had a spa balcony cabin, 14124, and we found it lacked storage and the balcony was a little small but the bathroom was great. Unfortunately, the area just above us must have been a set-up location for the stewards as we could hear noises starting around 6 a.m. That is the highest deck we have ever stayed in and we felt absolutely no movement and no engine noises. It was a great cabin in that respect. The spa access was wonderful. Best spa we have been in on any ship. We usually get a spa pass when we go cruising. The salt room was terrific and the steam room was awesome. The sauna, steam rooms and salt room were co-ed and I really liked this factor.

The fireworks were a very nice touch.
