Sailed on the brand new Norwegian Getaway a few weeks back. Overall it was a good experience, the ship is excellent, staff is great but the food was a big disappointment.

Ship Decor - It is very modern, contemporary. The cabin is good size, good decor and very comfortable. The balcony is a little bit small compared to other ships i have been on but it didn't take away from the experience. The cabin is very well thought out with enough space for storage for bags, clothes and the bathroom layout is excellent with great use of all the space. Our cabin attendant Arnold was excellent, always had a smile and there was no request that was too much for him. They also have a 9 hole mini golf that is pretty cool, the ropes course looked interesting but didn't get a chance to try that.

Pools - The main pool is extremely small for this size ship but in my opinion that has been done on purpose to generate revenue to the other pools where you have to pay. You can either do the vibe beach club for outdoor pool or the spa thermal suites if you want something indoors. I bought the passes for the spa thermal suites and it was worth it. It was my nice little quiet retreat for me. The water slides are awesome, if you are brave enough you can try the free falling slides. There is a nice miniature golf as well as a basketball court on deck 17. Didn't get a chance to try the ropes course.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BX

Nice cabin, could see the bridge from the balcony. Comfortable, modern decor and plenty of storage and closet space for clothes and luggage. Nice deck as you were in the middle of either going down or up to the pools/spa. Good location as you don't feel the boat at all.
