First things first...sailing from the new Bayport Facility in Houston is a dream. Parking is right next to the cruise terminal and they've got the security screening and check-in down to a science. From arrival to cabin in about an hour, and this was with general boarding as it was our first sail with Princess. First night out the seas were rough and the stabilizers got a severe workout, but next morning dawned clear and it was smooth sailing from then on.

Caribbean Princess had a recent refurb and was in great shape for our cruise. Our cabin, outside Emerald deck was nicely appointed with a mini fridge and flat screen tv (not that we spent much time in there!) Our cabin steward was wonderful, even to the point of getting me ice during the crew emergency drill (don't want to get him in trouble :))...our cabin was always made up at convenient times for us.++

Since we sailed in April there were some children onboard but not as many as during summer and holiday months. I saw them at check-in but honestly don't remember seeing many during the cruise so there must have been some very dutiful parents onboard or they were all kept occupied by the programs onboard, either way there we no disturbances with rowdy kids at the pools, cutting in lines at the buffet and such...
