It was our first cruise so we didn't have a point of comparison, but we were pretty disappointed with our experience.
My boyfriend is a Coeliac (gluten intolerant) which we entered during the online booking process. A letter was left in our room for our arrival saying that we could speak to the kitchen staff regarding meals for him. The majority of staff were surprisingly ignorant of what was in the food they served, and when we found the chef who actually knew what gluten was there was very little my boyfriend could eat. (Aren't cruises meant to be about going up- not down- a pants size?) Considering we made his condition known months before we cruised, we expected to be better catered for.
My boyfriend was also lucky enough to get food poisoning from the Waterfront (yeah, he had a good trip). We're 99% sure it was the salmon he had for entrée. An hour or so later, he was in a cold sweat heaving over the toilet until the early hours of the morning. No, he doesn't get sea sick. The food never really seemed fresh.
As you would expect, the room was small but we were pretty happy with it. The queen bed was two single beds pushed together which was a little annoying. I was very glad I took a power board as there was only 1 powerpoint in the room and we had a myriad of devices to charge (two cameras, a GoPro and our phones when we thought we would try to find wifi on shore- no luck there). The room was just a room but the point of the cruise isn't to stay in bed all day so I didn't mind it.
