Sail Date: May 2014

We embarked in Barcelona on 5/23/2014. Embarkation was a breeze. We had a quick lunch in the Windjammer. It was one of 3 meals we ate there. I felt as though by the time I had my salad, main food and iced tea, the food was cold and the tea was watery. We had no service in the Windjammer. I would rate it a 1. Our cabin was 8086. The size of the cabin and balcony was as expected. The shower had doors, not shower curtains, which was nice. The bed was not as plush feeling as it has been in the past. Pillows were very thin and our sheets were not changed on the cruise. There was a black magic marker spot that stayed on the sheets the entire time..in the same place.

Seranade now has the centrum as a MAJOR activity center. Since Seranade sailed from Barcelona, Guest Services said that was why Latin music blared into the night until 12:15 or later. There was no sleeping and we were extremely upset as our tours were early each day and strenous. We needed our sleep. Our cabin steward attended to needs, but I should not have had to request sheet changes.

We were basically pleased with the Main Dining Room and our waiters. Food was not wonderful, but acceptable.

Cabin Review

Hump 8086...as expected, nice balcony..seemed smaller than Vision cabin last year.
