Ship Facts: Celebrity Millennium Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Millennium Deck Plans
A relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Embarkation took a while but once bags dropped off and our check-in group number was called we were soon onboard. The cruise terminal had a nice café/bar and loads of outside space which we explored whilst waiting to be called.

The ship wasn't the newest in the fleet but staff were continually making sure that everything looked new.

Our room was excellent, no smells, chocolates delivered every day without asking and our attendant was an absolute star. Our room was cleaned extremely efficiently almost every time we left the room.

As the cruise was long we ate at both the blu restaurant and main restaurant both of which we found to be excellent. The waiters and sommelier were very attentive and helped with selections and were happy to bring extra portions to sample if we fancied. We opted to flexi dine and we never had to wait for a table.

The entertainment on board was excellent and we enjoyed every act, apart from the comedian which was not to our taste but others seemed to enjoy.

We soon got used to the "washy washy" environment and didn't let this bother us as after all it was for our benefit.

Looking at the deck plans we realised that there would be a walk to the Spa and again this was fine. We didn't always get a locker but the reception staff at the Spa were always happy to look after our items whilst we enjoyed the facilities. The showers and changing room could get busy at times but the attendants tried to keep it clean and tidy and the showers were always hot.

My only negative was that some fellow cruisers seemed intent on moaning and trying to spread their unhappiness to others. In reality the cruise was a bargain price for 14 nights accommodation with food and the staff worked tirelessly to make it an enjoyable trip and they achieved it. In fact I was appalled how some passengers spoke to staff.

Overall we loved the cruise, enjoyed meeting many different nationalities and left the ship having had a great break. Thank you Celebrity, we look forward to returning soon.
