We are have been married for 35 years and taken 15 cruises. RCCL is the only cruise line we have used. We decided to try Celebrity because we had heard it is less "loud" and more adult.

We arrived at 10:30 at port. We had a concierge balcony room so we had a special check in line when we got to port. (Although there were no lines anywhere) check in was quick and painless! We noticed when we got our sea pass cards we didn't have a dining table # on it. I guess Celebrity doesn't put those on your cards ( really have no idea why). They have a dining table card in your room. We were allowed to board around 11:30.

The ship is beautiful! The greeting with champagne was a nice touch. We went to the Oceanview Cafe for lunch. It is similar to the Windjammer but the food is much better! There is also an outside area where you can take your food and eat! After a LONG winter it was great to sit outside and enjoy the sun. We had received the free drink package so we ordered a specialty drink strawberry watermelon mint drink. Very good! We aren't big drinkers but it was nice to have an occasional drink plus all the bottled water we wanted.

Cabin Review
