Ship Facts: Celebrity Equinox Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Equinox Deck Plans
Ultimate 11 day Caribbean Cruise

Equinox did not disappoint and was in fantastic shape overall. Officers and crew were Celebrity typical approachable and friendly with a few exceptions covered later. Ports were good overall but some only offered extensive excursion at high cost and others not that appealing. Cartagena a pleasant surprise 3 hours mini tour with Cony(Consuelo) she is very nice and whisked us around the major sites efficiently.

Self directed 7 mile, Surf-side, in GC and Paradise in Cozumel beach visits worked very well and worth the trip.

Entertainment: Major shows are great and groups and singers excellent. Entertainment staff somewhat disorganized and not good at promoting events and at times seemed to not have a plan? Paul the Director to me was way to formal in his approach with big focus on dressing formal with only a few exceptions. Espy his assistant did not impress me and was mainly in the background?

11 days means a lot of sea days and after a while the pool gets boring and would have been ideal for more team events. Zooma was fanatic and Andrea's a ball of energy giving it all each time kudos. No doubt the longer cruises appeal to an older group but not being a spring chicken I sure felt young LOL

Cabin: Deck 9 mid ship bump a great location so noise and great attendent

Dining: As expected and a good mix, waiter not the best we have had but attentive enough. Note evening buffet is not a substitute for dining room as selection is very poor?

Pool Bar: Not the best servers and poorest attitude ever maybe because the pressure is low due to the Classic drink promotion. Barmen would not speak and seldom even seemed to appreciate your business?
