The cabin was small but we do not spend much time in our cabin. The stewards are excellent. There was black mold in the air ducts which was a serious problem which I believe caused a chronic cough.

The grand voyage is a lot of fun
The people it attracts are great to be with - they are all over 55 and love to talk and have mature fun
The crew is outstanding including the officers
The ship is very old, had a lot of black mold in the air systems and the air flow has a problem, the front of the ship with the stage is very cold and the back is very warm
There is only fixed seating which we do not like
There are some plumbing problems - several passengers did not have hot water for 7 days
Almost everyone came down with a chronic (4-6 week) cough that was not cured with an antibiotic - I think it is mold related to the air system
The food was only mediocre - the ice cream was always very soft and runny and the meat was tough
About half the enrichment lectures were very good - the rest were medium to very badThere was black mold in the air ducts which was a serious problem which I believe caused a chronic cough.
