This was our fourth cruise, third with RCCL, once on Celebrity. We brought our two children ages 7 and 11. This was their first cruise. We flew out the day before and stayed ay Embassy Suites.

Arrived at ship port at around 11:30, and because we booked a Royal Family Suite, we were able to go in special line dedicated to passengers staying in suites, etc. Embarkation went smoothly and we were on ship by noon. Kids received wristbands and we headed for the centrum. What a beautiful display of glass and wood with lighted staircase to deck five. Took kids on quick tour of ship and did muster drill at 4:30. Ran back to cabin, put life jackets away, and headed for decks 11 and 12 for sail away festivities with the band Rhythm Wave.

Cabin: Our suite was located on the rear of the ship. Two bedrooms and two baths. Absolutely wonderful room. Great for the kids as they had their own room. Bowl of fresh fruit awaited us. Our stateroom attendant was wonderful and very friendly. Saw him every day. One note however: this was our first time in the rear of ship and we felt the movement more than other cruises. We usually are on a lower deck mid- ship.
