New York LGA was not bad coming in, but we had to wait almost an hour before the shuttle to the docks left and it was definitely overcrowded. We also ended up dropping some people off at a hotel on the way and the ride was less than scenic, the driver was suicidal. Getting onboard was a long wait as this was our first cruise. Long lines and not completely organized.

We were on a 10 day cruise 1/18/07. This was our first cruise (my husband and myself). Once on board everything went smoothly. I cannot say enough about the staff, everyone from housekeeping to the ship's officers. Everyone was professional, polite and went out of their way to please you. We enjoyed the freestyle concept as we could eat when we chose and did not have to get dressed to the nines. The food choices at the buffet were many. Quality of food was good. The restaurants were very good and the service was excellent. The specialty restaurants were 4 star and worth the extra to get in. The chocoholic buffet was unbelievable. Ice sculptures, chocolate sculptures and so many varieties of desserts that it was impossible to try them all. The ship was kept clean at all times. There are hand sanitizers everywhere and people are encouraged to use them.

The shows were very entertaining. Jean Ann Ryann Co did three shows and they were all excellent. There was a magician who was very good and the comedian was hysterical. One thing I did not like was the fact that guests brought their children with them into the lounges when late night shows were going on and it did put a damper on things. Also, kids were in the bars (sunday football game). I felt this was not appropriate at all as there are plenty of kid activities/TV areas where parents could watch the games with their children. Maybe I am old fashioned, but kids do not belong in bars running around. We found out early in the cruise that it is best to make reservations ahead and did just that.
