We came back yesterday from our cruise on Serenade of the Seas. We had 11 of us on the trip and had a wonderful time.

We thought the ship was quite nice. The service was outstanding. We have cruised on NCL twice in the past and preferred Royal Caribbean. I would absolutely recommend Royal Caribbean for families. We had a total of 5 kids from ages 4 to 17 on the cruise and the staff on the Serenade of the Seas took excellent care of them. It was the little things. My 7 year-old nephew received a high five from our head waiter as he came into the Reflection dinning room each night. The assistant waiter brought the kids either chocolate milk or regular milk just as they sat down for dinner, without having to be asked. They simply brought whatever the child had previously. We were sitting out by the pool one day and it was boat making time. The kids received pieces of precut wood and a hammer and nails to build little boats they could float in the pool.

We thought the food was excellent overall. We liked the Reflections dining room very much for dinner and ate the most of the other meals in the Windjammer. We were not too happy with the Sushi in the Windjammer which was disappointing because we really like Sushi.
