Sail Date: Jan 2014

We like to get away in January. We have previously used Costa Cruises on 4 previous trips and had done the same ( almost ) itinerary once before. Pacifica is known to us as we have sailed on her once before. We booked thro' Cruise Club 1 month before embarkation date as it seemed a bargain. The flight from Newcastle suited us. The arrangements worked well ( Easyjet ) and we arrived in Barcelona on time. on time. Our transfer taxi was waiting to meet us and we were taken to the ship with only the two of us in the car. . This was part of the Costa package. There was no queue at the terminal and we did the baggage drop and were straight into the terminal. There was a slight delay as we were behind a group but 5 minutes waiting doesn't really count!

Onto the ship with no delay and we were greeted by a nice lady and asked if we knew the ship and where we were going. This class of boat is easy to know as they are all very similar indeed!

Into the cabin we went and were well pleased. We had upgraded to a premium cabin and were pleased; it was large being a Mini suite having disabled facilities . Our stewardess was most pleasant and helpful and soon realised that we made a slow start to the day.

Cabin Review

A MINI SUITE converted for disabled access gave us wide doors, v. large shower room and lots of space.
