Well where do I start we have been looking forward to this since June there was a group of 12 of us 2 kids included 10 and 13. We arrived at Ft Lauderdale to find out the ship was not leaving the day it was suppose to Our flight came in at 11:45 and there was no Carnival rep there to great us so we asked another rep from another cruise line. He then called someone. While we waited for this someone the other rep handed me a letter from carnival saying that the ship was delayed but would leave the next day. Along with this latter we were handed a list of 4 hotels. Then the rep from Carnival showed up. She said that there was a medical emergency that the ship had to dock elsewhere that we would be leaving tomorrow. Yes we were upset because we lost a day and we were not going to Belize, which was the one port that we really booked the cruise for. We had 12 of us that were not happy and we were voicing that the carnival rep handed us another paper with the hotels on it and said there is the pay phone and walked away from us to fend for ourselves. This to me should have been all arranged for us by the time we arrived. So we ended up paying 260$$ US for the Yankee Clipper on the beach. We had a hotel in Toronto for 105$$ CAN that was much nicer and we did not see cockroaches like 2 of our group did in their room. We were left to find a shuttle for the 12 of us even though we had prepaid for our shuttle to the boat. This was very disappointing for all of us; we are waiting to see how much we will get reimbursed for out troubles. They had offered 15% on this cruise and 20 on our next cruise, which I do not plan on using Carnival again due to the customer service we got at the airport.

Embankment went fast once we were at the port they let us get right on 1/2 hour and we were on the ship wondering around trying to find our way.

The ship was beautiful a very different dEcor theme but really nice, our stateroom was roomy we did have 4 of us in there so it was nice to have a balcony you could always escape to. The cabin steward cleaned up well we did not have any service the first night but we over looked that and they did well.
