Sail Date: Dec 2013
Traveled with children

This is my 6th cruise and the 1st with Norwegian. My husband, kids (ages 10,11&13) and myself went on the breakaway. I have to say that we were extremely disappointed. I have never been on a shop this large and expected a lot more variety in entertainment, kid club activities and food quality.

I have sailed Royal Carribean, Holland America and Carnival twice.

The main thing that made us choose this ship was the fact that they had a sports complex at the top of the ship and a rock wall. Most of our days were at sea yet the sports complex had limited hours. Some days you could only use the sports complex from 10a.m.-12p then late evening- this caused long line waits. My kids never got on the rock wall. It was literally closed most of the trip. Weather was beautiful everyday. The wall opened also at night most days from 8p-10? Makes no sense.
