My family of 10 took this cruise . Ages ranged from 31 to 90 and we all had a wonderful time. We embarked in Venice and the process was very easy. The check in went smoothly. My mother is able to walk short distances so we had a wheelchair for her and the porters and attendants were very courteous. The cabins were well appointed and we loved the verandas. dining was a treat each night, whether it was the main dining room or one of the specialty restaurants. One of our favorites was the lawn grill. Making the flatbreads was lots of fun and the service and view was terrific.
Each port we stopped at was very different. Ravenna was my least favorite, because the map was not very accurate and we couldn't tell which were the highlighted buildings. Loved Croatia, split was easy to get around and Dubrovnik was very nice. we took a cab from the ship to the cable car and road it to the top. That was wonderful. then road it down to the bottom and walked into the old town.
our time aboard ship was very relaxing. the pools were good with lots of lounging areas.
Sicily was very different from the other places, Mt Etna was really interesting. the Amalfi coast was a favorite.
Then in Rome we stayed an extra day to see some of the sights. All the excursions we booked on our own because of the size of our group and the different abilities of each member.
I would do this cruise again, because there is so much to see.
