Sail Date: Nov 2013

Just returned from sailing on the Freedom during thanksgiving week. We booked this week because it fit our schedule. We arrived one day early on november 23rb and stayed at the hampton inn center city. Very nice hotel with a very nice free breakfast and free shuttle to the port. Great staff and very friendly. Airport to hotel cab fare about $13.00 plus tip. Took the 10:30 shuttle the next morning to the port.

This was our very first suite so we had priority boarding. The boarding process did not take very long and we were on the ship a little past noon. I was very reluctant to go this week because of the of the holiday crowds but it really was not bad. At times the buffet area was was a nightmare mostly at breakfast. All the food was very good both buffet and main dining room. Had brunch in the main dining room during sea days and excellent. Also went to tea time in the main dining room and very nice. Our cabin was 7283 an ocean suite which was the largest and nicest cabin we were ever in. Room stewards did an great job. Spent a lot of time in the serenity area. Very peaceful and nice place to get away. Also outside promenade deck very nice place to get away and enjoy a book and relax on a deck chair. Shows were for the most part were good some better then others. Adult comedy shows were funny. On most cruises do self walk off but because we had a 3 pm flight were in no hurry. Freedom is a very nice ship.I had to carry a map of the ship with me most of the time until I figured out the layout.

Cabin Review

very large cabin with big balcony. plenty of room . very big bathroom with a tub and double sinks. lots of storage space. we heard no noise from neighbors. smoking on the balconys not a problem.
