We went for a relaxing last minute weekend cruise. We have been on many cruises and I would not go on this ship again. Boarding and departing were a breeze. The fire drill was the longest we ever experienced. I thank those passengers that ignored the no eating or drinking rules and those that cannot tell time. The best was those who actually thought they did not have to have their life jackets.  Our luggage was delivered to the wrong room. We never saw our cabin attendant until of course the last night of the cruise, tipping night. The ship badly needs refurbishing and I understand it will. The crew was very attentive and nice. We went to the captain's party and the captain was the nicest we ever met. The free drinks during the party and at times in certain bars were bahama mamma's and screw drivers. All juice and way too sweet, but you can't complain they were free after all.The food at the buffet area was not too good. The food that should have been hot was cold and vice versa. Even butter was not kept on ice as it should be. In the main dining room the food was not so good either. Very disappointed in the food on this ship. The best thing about this cruise was the main headliner who unfortunately I forgot his name. He was an impressionist/ singer/ musician. This is a great show. One thing I always disliked on cruises and it was prominent on this cruise as so many, Is children hanging out in bars. I am a parent and have never taken my kids when small on cruises into the bars. So I am not anti child, but when I go to have a cocktail I do not want or need a child jumping up and down on the chairs or running all over. All cruises should frown upon allowing children in bars. The midnight buffet was the worst I have ever seen on a cruise. Hot dogs???? I would sail this line again as I have before, but not this ship.
