We loved our cruise on the Royal Princess. We were a little concerned because of previous reviews, but it was a wonderful experience. The embarkation and disembarkation was organized and efficient as usual on Princess. The ship is beautiful and the food and service was outstanding. With over 3900 passengers on board, we could always find a seat quickly by the buffets and the buffets are so spread out that we never felt crowded. We had late seating in the Allego dining room, thoroughly enjoyed our tablemates, and our waiter Joel was superb!

If we couldn't find a chair in the shade by the pool, we just asked a deck hand and they quickly brought out more chairs and found us a place to sit. There was lots of entertainment and it was better than the other princess ships we have been on in the last 4 years. We enjoyed the on demand TV on the large flat screen tv in our cabin, too. The balconies are small, but for two people, it was perfect for us. There were complaints about the lack of stairs off the Piazza, but there were plenty of elevators so it was never a problem.

The international cafe was awesome--be sure to try the cashew chicken waldorf salad.
