This was an ideal boarding. Never before had things gone so right. However, from there on it was disappointing.
No greeting of any kind, just stand here and take off your glasses. Then we had to find room ourselves.
Dining early turned into disaster. Seated early, but last to leave dining room as waiters tended to other tables before our table of 10. Had to remind waiter of order.
Could never find cabin steward when we requested. Ships crew never spoke or greeted you with a smile.
Towels were thin and not soft.
Room service was helter skelter. Upper deck restaurant was not service friendly and serving spoons in short supply. Tables were not cleared for new seating until requested.
Toilets were always in disorder and closed for repair during both legs of cruise. Entertainment was the worst we have ever experienced. There were 2 that were excellent, individuals....but the magic man and the juggle? How low could they go.
We had never been a part of so many inconsiderate travelers. Many were just plain rude and pushy.
Cruising has changed since we started in 1996. We will go again but never on Princess Lines
What can you say about this? They only stop here because they MUST. And then they only spend 3 and 1/2 hours? It is not that far to LA. So just crowd down to exit (2600 passengers on this ship) and than hustle back on board? You are kidding. What a waste of time and fuel to do this.
Kauai is special, but due to physical limitations we shopped locally.
