The sun was shining the air temps. perfect. Hovered at 77 the entire time. Embarking was a breeze. Our counter check-in took 5 minutes and then we waited 30 min. to go onboard. When we arrived at our room the luggage was waiting outside our door. Our room included a verandah. After a few minutes of exploring our room we were instructed to the muster station. Everything was so orderly, as always in the DISNEY WAY. Then we headed up to Cabana's , the amazing smorgasboard of food choices! We ate giant cold shrimp and stone crab. So many choices made your head spin. We had the 2nd dinner seating,so we had a ways to go. At this time the kids pool area was packed and the adult areas were mostly empty. Let me mention at this time that the Disney Dream is a stunning ship. Very classic and throwback decor, reflection of 40's elegance. Dinner that night was at the Enchanted Garden. Our next 2 nights assigned to The Royal

Palace. Our last night at Animators Dream. The menus were very creative but I would rate the food at a solid 7.

Pirates Night was a hoot as many adults dressed up and the kids were adorable. There were fireworks that night and the kid's pool area was covered up as there was crazy dancing and lots of food and desserts at Cabana's buffet. Our day at Castaway Cay was memorable. We took the glass bottom boat tour for 35$ ea. for adults. A bit pricey . I would not do that again. The adult beach at Serenity Bay was great. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas available and drink service too. Barbecue lunch close by was delicious. Salads, bread, fruits, drinks ,icecream and a variety of meat available.

Cabin Review

With verandah. Very roomy. I loved the separate bathing and commode. So quiet at night.

Room 7148A.
