Very happy with the refurbished Grandeur of the Seas. All the areas are in great shape, the colors and the decorations pleasant. This never felt like a small ship. We only smelled an odor once and that was when we were next to another ship, so am blaming the smell on them. The crew was very pleasant and efficient, always cheerful and helpful. Jimmy the cruise director was fun and engaging without being over the top.

Food was very good. We enjoyed the Windjammer, the MDR still was serving the old menu and we both prefer the new menu but preparation and presentation were still delightful. We went to Chops for our anniversary and felt that the $30 per person was well worth it.

We always enjoy the shows, there was always space on the pool deck (not so by the atrium pool). We are not group activity people but all the activities seem to be well attended and people seemed to enjoy participating. We loved the itinerary and wished we could do this same cruise again. It is hard to understand how the GOTS can be year round in Baltimore, as it was very chilly for the last 24 hours of the cruise.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

7565 interior cabin near the centrum. Noisy only on 70's night. Not good for mobility challenged as had to jump over the end of the bed which abutted the dresser. This would not have been a problem if these had stayed as twins. Plenty of storage, good lighting. Loved being on deck 7.
