We left out of Galveston, not too bad getting on board once we got through the line for security. We were in a JS so got to move to front of line to receive sea pass. Got on board and found our cabins. Met our stateroom attendant immediately. Willy was very helpful and answered all our questions. He was always available and attentive to our needs.
Ate all evening meals in the MDR. Our waiter Christian and his assistant Ernesto were very good. Always willing to make adjustments to the meals if needed and even got us a couple of extra lobster tails and shrimps. They were both polite and attentive. We really enjoyed them and their service.
Also enjoyed dining in the WJ although sometimes it was pretty crowded and you had to maneuver around. The food selection throughout the ship was excellent.
Took the ATV through the jungle excursion in Cozumel. It was okay and I crossed it off my bucket list.
Enjoyed Christopher and Dwayne in the Grand Caymans on our Stingray city excursion. Highly recommend it!
The best was the whitewater rafting excursion in Jamaica on the Rio Bueno river. Errol was an excellent guide and we had a blast, will definitely do that one again.
Hated getting off the ship in Galveston, but alas all things must come to an end. Disembarking was a dream. We were off the ship and on the road within an hour. Recommend getting a porter to help with luggage.
Enjoyed all the shows on board especially the Las Vegas Tenors and Eta May.
The crew was very helpful and Steve and Cuddy were a riot. Everyone made us feel important and welcome. Can't wait for the next cruise. Too bad the Mariner is on her way to China. I wish her and her crew all the best.
