Stayed pre-cruise at the Fairfield in Dania Beach and had nice clean and comfortable room and shuttle service to and from dinner and then again the next morning to the cruise port.
Embarkation was a snap as we are full suite / Elite guests and we were thru the check in process in 15 minutes. We sailed in the aft suite (733) on the Emerald Deck. The suite was gorgeous and clean and came with all the freebies a suite does. However, there is a LOT of motion and vibration in this cabin and the view never changes and I like seeing the ports. . I probably would not book this cabin again because of the motion.
We ate at the Crown Grill first night and the lobster and Chocolate Obsession dessert was perfect but my husband's ribeye steak was pitiful ( think 1/4 inch steaks served at the old Bonanza restaurants). We were surprised the chef let that steak leave the kitchen.
We chose traditional dining all week and the service and food was good. Horizon Court was always busy and congested and the food ok. As always the pizza is wonderful.
Staff were friendly and attentive and were eager to answer questions.
We rented a bungalow in the Princess Cays and chose the lunch package to be delivered. The Sanctuary Bungalows are roped off and there is little noise or people. For lunch the staff brought lobster, shrimp, jerk chicken, short ribs, salads and cookies. Later in the afternoon, ice cream was delivered.
St Marteen was a nice port and we just shopped. Took the water taxi across the bay and that was fun.
St Thomas we took the Great House and Mountain Top tour and opted to stay on the ship when we reached Grand Turk. We booked the Sanctuary all day and enjoyed the sun and quiet of that area.
Overall, a great, relaxing time and Princess delivered a memorable trip.
