Ship Facts: Liberty of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Liberty of the Seas Deck Plans
Fourth Time not quite a
Our fourth time on the Liberty for a 5-day "getaway" and the ship hasn't gotten any smaller! Approx. 3800 guests with lots of kids on Spring Break.

Embarkation very quick. Arrived at 1:30pm, checked in, and were in our cabin before 2pm.

Large veranda cabin quite adequate, plenty of storage space and well maintained by our steward.

Seating around pools impossible to find on sea-days unless you are there in the early AM, which we are not.

Food in MDR very average, not one really good dinner in four nights. Chops Grill for the fifth night was excellent for quality and service.

Entertainment: If you are a"Jersey Boys" fan and the Unexpected Boys are on your cruise don't miss them. All the Four Seasons hits were great.

In The Air show also very good.

Cast of Saturday Night Fever very mediocre. Many people walked out as we walked in after a late dinner.

Overall service very good, very friendly staff. Debark was another story. It's a mess! Getting off the ship was a fiasco-lines everywhere. We were asked to carry our carry-ons down from Deck 4 to Deck 1. No way, Jose! Took an elevator down and a crew member said: Go back up to Deck 3and get in line to the stairs. We refused and got in line on Deck 1 and eventually exited the ship.

Then took the long trek to another terminal to claim our checked luggage and go through customs. All together took 1 1/2 hours to get outside to head home.

RCL has a logistics problem with the Liberty using the terminals it presently uses. We have been pretty loyal to RCL but will probably try another line next!
