We loved the cruise line, and the destinations Haiti (Labadee) and Jamaica. Especially surprising was great handling of special dietary needs (our concern - wheat/gluten). Our server was very knowledgable of both the gluten issue and the chef & kitchen process. Plus - the menus came with gluten free symbols next to each menu item! I can easily rank the food service better than our own local restaurants!

Our steward was very friendly, instantly remembered our names and that we had 2 rooms (not located next to each other) within the family group. We had several questions and needed additional extra keys between the 2 rooms - and found that Maria at the 'front desk' was really helpful, efficient, and quite lovely to chat with. She, and many others made the vacation setting so enjoyable!

We attended several activities, all just astounding - the ship's theater was a once a day visit; many trivia challenges in different lounges - and the ice arena was incredible - the ice show was great, and we even got to skate on ice after the shows were done - yes, ice skating on a ship in the middle of the caribbean!

Cabin Review

8850 - Great location - 3 floors / stairs from breakfast / open eating. 3 floors from the main street / shopping. about 1/3 way back from the front so wave action wasn't bad. Great balconies - very reasonable room for clothing. Suitcases conveniently fit under bed. Noticed a pull down bunk - didn't use but probably great for smaller kids (6-16). Lovely accommodations. Bathroom a bit small but considering it is a boat - these were fine and customary sized for cruises. Had to ask for 1 extension cord (CPAP - no outlets on the entire wall by the bed) but had it pronto and with a smile -- just ask!
