After our flight from London Heathrow to Barcelona we finally arrived at the airport and were promptly met by RCCL staff who took our luggage and loaded it onto the coach. (Next time we saw our luggage it was about 1.30pm when it was delivered to our cabin.) We were then swiftly taken to the docks and check in was an absolute dream. Five minutes at the most.

We arrived onboard ship at 11.30am, and as our Junior Suite was not ready until 1pm, we were all ushered to the Windjammer Restaurant for a Buffet lunch and a much needed drink. As you enter the restaurant area and ship you are greeted by staff asking whether you would like to buy the Soda Package. Do it - it saves you a packet. Just over £3 ($6) a day for as much soft drink as you like.

Once in our Junior Suite, our Stateroom Attendant, Vincent came to introduce himself. He asked if we were happy with the room, and we were except for the shower curtain which was covered in black mold, and he quickly changed it for a brand new one. However, the grout around the bath was also covered in black mold, but despite the grout mold the room was fine. Throughout the cruise Vincent was excellent and we enjoyed coming back to cabin and discovering new towel animals each evening. We especially loved the monkey.
