Our party consisted of my husband, myself, and our two adult daughters (ages 21 and 24). We had cabins on the Lido deck. BA 234 and Inside 237. We traveled by car from Atlanta. Previous cruise history: One Princess Cruise (Island Princess: Hawaii) and one Carnival Cruise (3 nights to the Bahamas). It was our youngest daughter's first cruise.

Embarkation: Was a breeze. We arrived at Port Everglades about 3pm. Stevedores there promptly to assist with removing the luggage from the car and with four passengers we had every bit of trunk space filled!) We quickly parked the car, and proceeded inside the terminal. As we had arrived later than we planned we had no lines at any part of this process. We were assisted making some credit card changes, sent through security, had our embarkation photo taken, then off to our cabins. Each cabin seward met us promptly at our cabins, made notes of our requests, and off we went to the Horizon Court for a late lunch. Pizza and beer by the Lido pool!

Muster Drill: Princess had the usual muster drill; ours was station 2, which consisted of the Explorer's Lounge, Internet Cafe, hallways, etc. our two daughters confessed to missing the muser drill as they were soaking away in the hot tub. (BAD GIRLS!) I went into Mom mode, and suggested they at least read the signs in the cabin that told them where to go, and they said they had listened to instructions on the close circuit TV while unpacking. Later on we all read the signs and looked at the secondary route's as well. Little did we know that this information would be put to use at 3am midway through our trip. Anytime Dining: We love this about Princess. First night we actually did not sit with the girls (they were still in the hot tub), but went to dinner by ourselves. We joined a large table, and had no wait. Food was delicious each night, with a wide variety of choices, and gracious service. The girls had dinner by themselves in a different dining room, and raved about the service team and attention they received. We all agreed to eat together from that point on. We ate in the Capri dining room the rest of the cruise and requested to sit with the same server each night. We did join another group one night, but most of the time we sat as a table of four. Never had a wait, despite the horror stories you might hear. We received much personal attention from the Maitre D' each night as well. Perhaps, traveling with your beautiful daughters factored into this attention.
