Hello. My lovely Boyfriend and I went on our second cruise. Our first was Carnival Triumph and this one was on April 23rd out of NYC! We took the NCL SPIRIT. We live on Long Island, so we took the LIRR to Penn Station then a cab -- 10 bucks -- to the ship. We had arrived at 215pm and we were on the ship at 230pm! Amazing! Please find something to do around the city and don't waste your time sitting there. If you get there at exactly 1130 or 12pm you will sit in chairs if you actually get a chair and wait for everyone to leave the ship before you get on. Have your immigration slips ready on hand or they will make you fill them out on the line.

We loved the idea of them having hand sanitizers all over the ship. As soon as you get on you must sanitize your hands!

We stayed on deck 9 in a balcony room. The shower and bathroom were kind of small and separated by two doors. The balcony was spacious. The bed was comfy we asked for an egg crate. We didn't realize there were two extra pillows in our closet till the last night. There was a nice little mirror with a desk that we used to put all of our electronics. The maid came to our room to tidy up about three times a day and was very courteous!
