Sail Date: Jan 2006

My wife and I have cruised with Carnival; Victory, Paradise, Royal Caribbean; Splendour Of The Seas; Princess; Golden and January 14, 2006 The Caribbean Princess. We just returned from the best cruise ever. Caribbean Princess far exceeded all of our expectations.

Embarkation: We arrived at the Ft. Lauderdale Princess Port at 1:05PM immediately went to the Caribe desk and we were in out cabin at 1:11PM. The entire very pleasurable experience only took 6 minutes from arrival to our cabin.

Cabin: Immediately upon arrival to our cabin we were pleased to see the doorway to our cabin decorated with Anniversary balloons and were met by our friendly room steward Martin who opened our door and explained the features of our beautiful spotless balcony room. We liked the amenities including the safe, TV, writing table and ample closet and drawer space. We asked for bathrobes and when we entered our room later in the day they were on top of our beds. Our luggage was neatly piled inside the closet as well. The room perfectly fit our requirements and we totally enjoyed it for the entire week. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping bubbly while the ship entered and exited the ports and watched the sun set every evening. Martin kept our room spotless and returning to our room after the evening entertainment we thoroughly enjoyed the Princess chocolates left on our comfortable pillows.
